2023 - "Green Comet" Gold Granulation upon Burl Wood Silver Casting and 22k Gold - Ethiopian Opal Pendant by Jenn Dewey

The "Green Comet's" tail is an imprint casting of burl wood in SCS Certified recycled silver, FAIRMINED 18k gold granulation and antique Burmese rubies... the fireball is made up of a fire-filled Ethiopian opal, set in a FAIRMINED 22k gold bezel.  Unisex.

The opal was responsibly sourced by an organization, working to ensure better livelihoods for miners in Ethiopia, with fair pay and elimination of the "middle men"... mine to market programs are becoming more prevalent in the responsible jewelry sector.  

A sprinkle of antique Burmese rubies in the tail of the comet... sourced from a retired Philadelphia jeweler many years ago, Seymore.  Signed.  OOAK Made for Mountain Film exhibition - Slate Gray Gallery - Telluride, CO.

Granulation & imprint goldsmithing techniques were studied under master goldsmith and art jeweler, Harold O'Connor.
