The Tuareg silversmiths work with minimal tools to create these intricate and finely finished pieces.  Currently in his early 20's, Alassan and I became friends online a couple years ago - as fellow Metalsmiths.  I feel fortunate to have been able to contribute to his toolbox and follow along, as he has just completed his apprenticeship under a master Tuareg jeweler!!
